Fitness First: Upgrading a High-Performance Sports Facility
The Fitness First sports facility underwent a significant renovation to enhance its flooring with a durable and visually appealing solution. The existing ceramic tiles were prepared using a combination of WOLFF Mambo and segments to create a roughened surface for improved adhesion. The entire 2,800 m² area was primed with UZIN PE 280, ensuring optimal substrate preparation. FusionTecthick layer levelling compoundUZIN NC 567 was then pumped onto the surface in layers of 10-15 mm using a pump truck for seamless and efficient leveling. Finally, the design flooring Expona Commercial was installed with UZIN KE 66 (new formula), achieving an elegant and robust finish suitable for high foot traffic.
Leveling Challenges in School Renovation: Tackling Uneven Floors with 40mm Height Differences
At the Ignaz Günther School in Altmannstein, extensive renovation work was carried out to create a stable, even floor foundation in the school kitchen and adjoining room. The project involved addressing significant height differences of up to 40 mm, along with misaligned connections to adjacent building components. To meet these challenges, UZIN PE 460 was applied with a B2 notched trowel and sprinkled with fire-dried quartz sand to provide a firm base. The FusionTec thick layler levelling compound UZIN NC 567 was then pumped and spread to level the floor, followed by a fine smoothing layer of UZIN NC 150. Finally, linoleum flooring was adhered with UZIN LE 44, resulting in a durable, high-quality finish.
Precision Floor Leveling in Residential Garage near Dvůr Králové: Concrete Grinding, Priming, and Smoothing Solution
In a residential garage in Bílá Třemešná near Dvůr Králové, a precise floor leveling solution was implemented to create a durable, sloped surface for optimal drainage. The process began with concrete grinding using a WOLFF NEO 230 machine, followed by priming with UZIN PE 260 and applying expansion tape UZIN foam expansion strip for enhanced stability. UZIN NC 570FusionTec universal levelling compound was used for leveling, with thicknesses ranging from 8mm to 2.5-3mm at the garage entrance to ensure easy water drainage with a squeegee. The final epoxy coating, Arturo EP3900, will provide a lasting, resilient finish to the newly leveled floor.
Renovation of a Historic Apartment in Vienna
Located in a charming Alt-Wien building in the 1090 district of Vienna, this 85 m² apartment underwent a complete renovation, transforming it into a modern private residence while maintaining its timeless elegance. To achieve the perfect flooring, a 2-layer oak herringbone parquet was chosen and fully bonded, complemented by matching Swiss-style baseboards—a quintessential choice for an Altbau apartment.

The health center located at Schrevenweg 13 in Zwolle underwent an extensive floor renovation covering 862 m². Due to the critical condition of the subfloor, precise preparation and the use of high-quality materials were essential to create a stable and durable flooring solution.
Renovation of the Icebreaker Ship "Frej" in Luleå Harbor
The icebreaking ship Frej underwent a significant renovation at Luleå Harbor, involving approximately 200 sqm of flooring. The ship's steel subfloor posed unique challenges, requiring specialized solutions to meet the demands of its harsh operating environment. With the vessel's function and stability in mind, the project aimed to achieve a durable, level surface for LVT installation while maintaining the ship’s structural integrity during the process.
Seamless Renovation of Underfloor Heating Channels in a Residential Building
The renovation of a 1995-built residential property in Sassenberg posed unique challenges. The goal was to retrofit underfloor heating (UFH) into the existing screed while maintaining the original structure. The project spanned 190 square meters, requiring precise planning and execution to preserve the integrity of the old screed while ensuring the floor was ready for tiling. Using INNOTECH’s milling system, channels were carefully created for the heating pipes without compromising the screed.
Transforming Apartments into a Modern Law Office
In the heart of Villingen-Schwenningen, a historic apartment building was transformed into a modern law office, blending timeless architecture with contemporary function. The renovation involved leveling diverse and challenging substrates, from poured asphalt and old terrazzo to stone-wood screeds, ensuring all surfaces aligned seamlessly at a 1.5 cm height. The rapid-drying FusionTec premium levelling compound UZIN NC 580 stood out as the primary solution, delivering exceptional adhesion and stability for various surfaces. Complemented by UZIN PE 280, UZIN PE 650, UZIN RR 203, UZIN PE 460, and UZIN quartz sand, this renovation overcame significant substrate challenges to provide a durable, high-performance foundation in a short timeframe.
