CHALLENGES AND REQUIREMENTS
The renovation presented several unique hurdles:
- Logistics: Transporting and lifting pumping equipment, including a leveling compound, required a helicopter to place it on board.
- Leveling on water: Ensuring the ship remained level and steady in the water during the application process was essential for achieving a flat surface.

To address these challenges, a comprehensive step-by-step plan was implemented:
- Steel Subfloor Preparation: The steel surface was thoroughly ground to remove imperfections and prepare it for priming.
- Priming:UZIN PE 460 combined with sand was applied to ensure proper adhesion of the leveling compound.
- Leveling: The ship's subfloor was expertly leveled using UZIN FusionTec premium levelling compound UZIN NC 580, a product designed for high-performance applications.
- LVT Installation: Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) were securely installed using UZIN KE 2000 S, ensuring a resilient and durable finish.
