New levelling compound technology – UZIN FusionTec

The UZIN FusionTec binder technology sees Uzin launch a completely new range of levelling compounds to the market, with outstanding technical and processing properties. It meets ecological requirements too. For example, it reduces global warming potential (GWP) by up to 39% compared to conventional cementitious levelling compounds. Whether you need a long pot life, the compound to be ready for covering quickly or high compressive strength combined with almost zero tension and good sanding capability is required, the new levelling compounds in the UZIN FusionTec range provide the perfect solution for every possible application. The first four new products (UZIN NC 580, UZIN NC 585 F, UZIN NC 570 and UZIN NC 587) will be launched across Europe in January 2024, followed by the UZIN NC 560, UZIN NC 550 and UZIN NC 567 in spring 2024.

“Building on that base, we have developed the new UZIN FusionTec levelling compound range, which combines the highest requirements for processing and technology and has a significantly lower carbon footprint and primary energy requirement. Using the new binder technology, our research and development has increased reliability for installers and taken the technical properties of the products to a new level, while combining them with the latest ecological requirements”, says Steffen Kallus, Head of the Uzin Business Unit, explaining the advantages of the new technology. The new range is wide-ranging and offers optimum solutions for a wide variety of requirements and preferences. The products are very easy to apply and can even level thick layers with ease. Depending on product, the levelling compounds are ready for covering very quickly – even for thick layers of up to 20 mm. Despite their high strength, they are excellent for sanding. UZIN FusionTec focuses particularly on limiting the use of resources and reducing CO₂ emissions. The levelling compounds are suitable for all types of adhesive and deliver the best results, even when installing floor coverings with challenging visual requirements. All these properties contribute to completing building projects on time and provide installers and planners with a high degree of certainty overall.
