How can new PVC luxury floor covering as single elements be bonded dimensionally stable on existing flooring? UZIN ELEMENTS.

The constantly growing variety of PVC luxury floor covering places top requirements on adhesives and installation materials since they often react with the floor covering. This results in joint formation from dimensional changes or tensions due to substance migration.

The bonding system of UZIN Elements counteracts even massive plasticiser impact and thus guarantees a dimension-stabilising effect on PVC flooring elements. The risk of joint formation is minimised.

Vacuum or damp-sweep the substrate with clean water to remove dust, dirt, etc..

First perform a trial bonding to check whether UZIN Elements adheres well to the existing floor covering. If so, affix the supplied UZIN Elements Tape along walls and protrusions. This provides increased adhesive strength in the edge areas.

Roll out the UZIN Elements Plus sheets on butt in the running direction of the floor covering to be installed and rub down well. Alternatively, UZIN Elements can also be installed using the so-called 2-man method.

Measure the room and divide the tiles. Mark the starting point of the first row of tiles with a suitable pen (soft pencil or regular DVD marker) on the protective paper.

Place a steel rail along the measuring points and align. Pull the protective paper away from UZIN Elements horizontally and straight up to the steel rail. Tear off the protective paper along the steel rail inclined toward the top. The straight line thus created serves as reference line of the first row of planks / tiles.

Install the tiles along the reference line without pull and tension and press down firmly by hand. Continually pull back the protective paper horizontally and straight. Install the floor covering as described.

After installation, rub down the whole area well crosswise.

The floor covering can be walked on and used right after bonding. UZIN Elements can be removed again without residues even after many years of use.
