Purpose of data processing

We process your personal data to carry out and process the UZIN Adhesive Competition. This includes in particular

• the registration and administration of your participation,
• the evaluation of the submitted pictures and/or videos,
• determining and notifying the winners,
• the publication of the pictures and/or videos of the winners on our website, as well as all media channels of Uzin Utz SE and the companies affiliated with Uzin Utz SE - online and offline - for example websites, print, newsletters and in social networks,
• the dispatch or presentation of the prizes,
• the assessments of the jury.

 

Legal basis of the processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. By participating in the competition, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with this data protection notice.

We process the following categories of personal data

• Participant’s first name and surname
• Participant’s profile photo
• Name of the company
• Contact details of the company (e.g. address, e-mail address, telephone number)
• Description of the project
• Pictures of the project
• Clothing size
• Assessments by the jury

 

Recipient of the data

Your data will be passed on within Uzin Utz SE to the employees responsible for carrying out the competition. Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the competition (e.g. shipping companies); this also includes sales representatives of the foreign subsidiaries for the handover of prizes, as the group of participants is not limited to Germany.

 

Duration of storage / deletion

We will only store your data for as long as is necessary to carry out the competition and fulfill the associated purposes. The pictures and/or videos and names of the winners will remain on our social media profiles and/or website permanently. You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.

 

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data processed by us as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
